Welcome to the SDG Investment Forum platform, operated by UN Global Compact Network Sri Lanka ("UNGCNSL"). By registering for, accessing, or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
1. Platform Role. UNGCNSL hosts a directory where verified financial institutions list SDG-aligned projects; we do not assess, endorse, or arrange them. UNGCNSL operates strictly as a convener and information-sharing platform. We are not a financial adviser, broker, dealer, arranger, or solicitor of investment, and we take no transaction-tied fees.
2. Access Layers and Verification. The platform consists of two main layers. Layer A (Networking) is accessible to all approved registered participants for profile creation, messaging, and meeting scheduling. Layer B (Project Directory) is strictly restricted. Only users verified by UNGCNSL as bona fide Capital Providers may view project listings. Only verified Listing Entities (e.g., licensed financial institutions, accredited entities) may post projects. Verification is at the sole discretion of UNGCNSL.
3. User Conduct and Prohibited Actions. Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information. The platform must not be used to execute financial transactions, exchange binding transaction documents, or facilitate payments. Listings must be descriptive only. Inclusion of specified financial returns (e.g., yields, IRR), binding terms, per-security pricing, or any solicitation-framed language is strictly prohibited.
4. Participant Responsibilities. Entities posting projects warrant that all provided information is accurate and assume full liability for their listings. Capital Providers acknowledge that expressions of interest serve only to facilitate off-platform introductions. All participants are solely responsible for conducting their own independent legal, financial, technical, and commercial due diligence.
5. Moderation and Takedown. UNGCNSL monitors platform activity for compliance with formatting and eligibility rules. We reserve the right to reject any application, suspend or terminate any account, and remove any listing or profile at any time, without cause or prior notice, in order to maintain the integrity of the platform.
6. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UNGCNSL, its officers, staff, and affiliates accept no responsibility or legal liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from your participation in the Forum, reliance on platform information, or any off-platform business relationship or transaction entered into between participants.
